What is SkyDRM?

NextLabs SkyDRM is an enterprise digital rights management (DRM) platform that protects sensitive documents shared across enterprises. SkyDRM deploys on-premises or in public and private cloud environments to prevent unauthorized access to files.

SkyDRM protects files in the NextLabs rights-protected format, NXL, and enables you to specify how those files can be accessed or used.

The rights protection that can be applied include the rights to view, print, re-share, edit, save as, take a screenshot, and extract a file. A SkyDRM administrator defines how the files should be protected, whether or not they should have a watermark, when and whether or not the rights protection will expire.

SkyDRM Web App enables authorized uses to view and print protected files within workspaces, projects, and SharePoint, as well as those uploaded for viewing, all through a local drive or web browser.
